House & Community Rules

House Rules & Guidelines

We are pretty relaxed here in the Prominence Community and only have a couple of guidelines while you're with us.  The Homeowners Association (HOA) has more restrictive guidelines that you must honor during your stay (see below).

No parties or events are allowed at our properties. We are located in a residential community and, although this is a holiday destination, this area is predominantly families and nature-loving groups. This is most likely part of its appeal to you too!

Quiet time is 10pm-8am.  We have neighbors. Please be respectful and keep noise to a reasonable level from 10pm - 8am.

Breakages: Accidents happen to the best of us.  We don’t charge for minor damage, broken glass, or chipped plates.  However, please do send me a message or leave a note for the housekeeper if you can remember so we can replace the items for the next guest. If it's a larger issue (e.g. a TV screen) we are happy to negotiate a fair charge to replace or repair the item before the next guests arrive

All Properties are part of the Prominence Community

Please review our HOA Rules

Animals and Pets:  In the community, pets shall be kept on a leash or otherwise confined inside. No pets are allowed in the pool area/ pool enclosures.

Trash Containers and Collections:    Please use the trash bins in the Garage.   Trash pickup is Tuesdays and Fridays.  Someone will enter the garage and set out the cans for pick up, and return them to the garage after pickup.

Trash to be placed in the respective receptacles that are screened and concealed from view, at each home.  The dumpster at the pool is for pool trash only, not for residential use.

Parking: We have parking in front of our garage door.  Overflow parking is hard to find.  Please try to bring no more than one vehicle for Lochshire and Twickenham, or two vehicles for Ivybridge and Merry Way.  If you park in another parking spot, you risk being towed at your own expense.

The HOA does not allow street parking.   All vehicles must be parked in garages, driveways or the common gravel parking areas along the streets.  Parking at mail kiosks is for 5-minute mail pickup/ Drop off parking only.

Bicycles:   Bicycles can't be secured to trees or parked in landscaped areas. Bikes will be stolen, please use the bike locks provided.

Towels/Clothes on Balconies: Towels and clothes shall NOT be draped over the balconies or porch railings.
Grilling on Balconies: The fire code prohibits the use and/or storage of grills, whether gas or charcoal, on balconies of connected homes/triplex/cluster and townhomes).
